Dearborn Heights, Michigan Party Bus

Dearborn Heights is considered a bedroom community, meaning that most residents travel out into other cities for their work. That may be true, but there are lots of great restaurants and bars in the area that you'll want to stop in to if you're ever in town. You may think Dearborn itself has the market cornered on great restaurants, but if you've never ventured into the heights to try something new, it's time to find out what you've been missing. These are our favorite restaurants and watering holes in the 48125 and 48127 zip codes.

Restaurants

Mexican Fiesta Restaurant - Our friends and family have been frequenting this Dearborn Heights establishment for years. Though there are multiple Mexican Fiesta locations in the area, this is by far the best. The food is absolutely mind blowing. We love the chicken enchiladas and burritos, and the chips and salsa will have you addicted from your very first bite. Note that they serve cole slaw with their dishes here unless you ask for beans and rice. You'll find this little gem on Ford Road just west of Telegraph Road.

Bone Yard Bar-B-Q & Grille - This is an awesome BBQ that's worth the drive no matter where you're coming from in Michigan. They finished in the top five for best barbecue in Detroit. The prices are ridiculously cheap and the portions are equally huge. They do their signature boneyard ribs over an open flame. Whether you're a fan of the chicken or the ribs, you will find yourself returning to this cozy little barbeque joint time after time for consistently great food. Cheap drink prices too! Located on Telegraph Road just south of Warren Avenue.

Cariera's Restaurant - This cozy little Italian restaurant has been in business for at least a couple of decades now, and for good reason. The atmosphere is casual yet the food is true fine dining at its best. The portions are giant! We love the manicotti and chicken parmesan combo (the best of both worlds!). They mix drinks perfectly here, so if you want a cocktail with your meal or afterwards, this is a great place to go. Wonderful desserts too. You'll find Cariera's on Telegraph Road south of Warren.

Alameer Restaurant - This is one of the best places in Wayne County to get delicious Mediterranean food with a Lebanese skew. Their family platters are truly giant, with kafta, steak skewers, hommous, rice, and french fries. We love the decor which has beautiful pictures of Lebanon featured throughout the establishment. The restaurant is spacious and the space is inviting. Try this taste of Lebanon on the corner of Ford Road and Inkster Road.

Beirut By Night Restaurant - Dearborn Heights definitely has its fair share of Mediterranean restaurants, but Beirut By Night is in a class of its own. They've got an extensive menu so no matter what you love, they're sure to have it, with a few extras that you won't find anywhere else. The lemon chicken is something that we have rarely seen at other Mediterranean haunts, and it's really flavorful and cooked to perfection. Delicious kibbee too! You'll find Beirut by Night on the corner of Ford Road and Outer Drive.

Bars

Wheat & Rye Bar & Grill - We love the Wheat & Rye no matter which Michigan location we visit, but the Dearborn Heights location is possibly the best. They have great live entertainment, delicious large portions, and lots of large flat screen televisions. They keep everything nice and clean and looking good. This is a great place to entertain visitors from out of town because you know it's always a good time at the Wheat & Rye. You can't go wrong with any sandwich or steak. Always delicious, always cooked to perfection. Located on Telegraph Road just north of Ann Arbor Trail.

Whiskey Bar & Grill - Everybody loves Whiskey because it's got that good old fashioned "Cheers" feeling! It's family run, and that means you never have to deal with cranky bartenders or staff. Everybody here is friendly and welcoming. The selection of beer is excellent, and the drinks are always mixed just perfectly. They go out of their way to make you feel at home here. You can find Whiskey Bar & Grill Warren, about five blocks west of Telegraph Road.

Tailgator's Sports Bar & Grill - This is such a great little sportsbar. They've got an outdoor patio that you'll really enjoy in the summer months, complete with speakers so you don't have to miss out on the great tunes that they always play. They've got a couple of pool tables and flat screen televisions, as well as video poker and keno, and an internet connected jukebox so you can hear all your favorite songs. Located on Van Born a few blocks east of Beech Daly.

Randy's Bar & Grill - Randy's has been in business seemingly forever. At least twenty years. They've got great drink prices, a nice tavern menu, and staff that's always friendly and welcoming. We love the spacious outdoor patio in the warmer months. Such a great place to meet friends for dinner and drinks. You can find Randy's on Warren, halfway between Telegraph and Beech Daly.

Walker's Speak Easy - This is just a good cozy bar that's been there forever. It's hard to imagine Dearborn Heights without Walker's Speak Easy. The best thing on the menu, and a big part of the reason that we continue to go there, is the beer battered cod. Very cheap drink prices, and friendly bartenders. You can find Walker's on Beech Daly south of Joy Road.
