Clio, Michigan Party Bus
Clio is a small city population-wise, but they're the home of our state's second largest construction, the WEYI Tower. An interesting fact is that Clio is sometimes called CL10 or CL-10, which may be in relation to County Line 10, and that's rumored to be the origin of the city's name. They're currently working hard to revamp their downtown area to bring in new businesses and economic growth. Many people currently travel to the city to watch the races at Auto City Speedway. If you're coming into the area anytime soon, you'll need to know where to dine and have drinks. Our favorite places in the 48420 zip code are...
Silvio's Italian Restaurant & Lounge - Everybody loves Silvio's. They've been going strong since 1975 because they know how to prepare and serve the finest Italian food at very reasonable prices. We're big fans of the antipasto salad, the pizza, and the fettuccini. The staff here always makes everyone feel at home. The downtown location is very convenient too. There are always great daily specials that help you to go a little lighter on your budget. You'll find Silvio's on the corner of Vienna and Mill.
Lucky's Steak House - Who doesn't love a great steak? At Lucky's you'll enjoy "The Finest Food at the Nicest Prices" from ribs to steaks to seafood. They've also got wonderful desserts. Our top picks for dinner would have to be the Blackened Mahi Mahi and the Aged Prime Rib. Of course the Filet Mignon is fabulous, and affordably priced too. Very relaxing atmosphere thanks to the great waitstaff who make sure that you have everything you need. You'll find Lucky's on Linden south of Vienna Road.
Twin's Pizza Pasta & More - If you're craving excellent pizza and pasta but don't want to go to a very fancy Italian restaurant, your next best bet is Twin's Pizza Pasta & More. The menu is actually filled with a wide variety of items that go far beyond pizza and pasta (hence the "more"). It's small and cozy, very clean, and with a friendly staff that makes sure your needs are tended to. They've got an outdoor patio for the warmer months, and even a drive thru for quick carryout. Located on Vienna Road east of Linden.
4 Katz Cafe - If you're seeking a cozy little cafe where you can enjoy delicious wraps, sandwiches, and of course your favorite coffee drinks, you've got to try 4 Katz Cafe. They have events from time to time like wine tastings, and on a daily basis you'll enjoy live music and plenty of attention from the waitstaff. The atmosphere here is very comfortable. If you live nearby you'll soon become a regular. Located on Vienna west of Mill Street.
Renie's Dixie Diner - We love cozy little roadside diners, and Renie's Dixie Diner definitely fits the bill. There's a nice salad bar that's always stocked with fresh ingredients, plus all your favorites from delicious breakfast omelettes to steak and chops. If you could use a break from the typical and the ordinary, stop into this diner and enjoy the laid back vibe. Located on Saginaw Road north of Vienne Road.
The Wood Shed Pub N Grub - The Wood Shed Pub N Grub is a great rustic bar where you can kick back with some great drinks and enjoy live entertainment from bands like Voodoo Honey and Wasabi. They've always got great bands playing, and theme nights too like Bike Night every Wednesday. You'll find The Wood Shed on the corner of Genesee Road and Lake Road.
Joe's Garage Sports Pub - Joe's Garage Sports Pub is especially popular when the classic car shows and cruises are going on, and they've always got great bands playing on the weekends too. It's in a building that really looks like a repair shop, and all the menu items have names like High Performance Sliders and V8 Premium (a juicy 8oz burger). Everything from pizza to steaks to seafood! You'll find Joe's on Vienna Road east of Elms.
Nite Cap Tavern - The Nite Cap Tavern is just a little hole in the wall neighborhood bar where you can stop in for your favorite cocktails and beers. We love the rodeo burgers, and the pizza is very good here too. The drinks can't get any cheaper than they are, and yet they're always nice and strong, never watered down. You'll find this one on Vienna Street west of Mill.
Cloverleaf Bar & Grill - The Cloverleaf Bar & Grill is nothing fancy, just a great neighborhood bar that's kept very clean. They have great bands playing from time to time, and the drinks are always very strong and good. Excellent bartenders here. The location is a little out of the way at the intersection between Saginaw and Clio Road.
Spider Trap Bar - The Spider Trap Bar is another little dive bar that's worth visiting. Cheap burgers and bar fare, nice strong drinks that are never watered down, and a great selection of beers. Happy Hour makes it even easier on your wallet. You can find this little hole in the wall bar on Saginaw Road southeast of Tuscola Road.
