Sushi Hana - Sushi Hana is the best sushi restaurant in the area as far as we are concerned. Though it's located in a strip mall, this is yet another example of dining gems hidden in unlikely places. They have the freshest and highest quality sushi that you'll find anywhere, and their service is always friendly and very quick. Despite being situated in Bloomfield Hills, one of the richest cities in the USA, you'll never overpay at this sushi restaurant. Everything is moderately priced yet superbly delicious. Located on Woodward Avenue just south of I-75.
Northern Lakes Seafood Company - If you're seeking fresh seafood in the Bloomfield Hills area, you'll surely hear lots of recommendations for Northern Lakes Seafood Co. The atmosphere is upscale and very romantic for those special nights on the town. They specialize in California wines. We recommend the oysters or the swordfish, but you really can't go wrong with any item on the menu. Located on Woodward Avenue just southeast of Long Lake Road.
Andiamo West Bloomfield - Andiamo has sprung up all over Michigan, but their Bloomfield Hills location is one of our favorites. This is one of the truly upscale choices in the area, so casual elegant attire is recommended (wear a tie!). All your favorite Italian fare is available here, fresh, tasty, and cooked to perfection. This location is conveniently located on Telegraph Road just south of West Maple Road.
Jade Tiki Restaurant - If you are looking for excellent Chinese food in the Bloomfield Hills area, you can't beat Jade Tiki. This restaurant has been in business for well over thirty years. The restaurant is immaculately clean and the staff is incredibly friendly. The portions are very large and the prices are reasonable too. We really love the Lemon Chicken. Entrees come with pork fried rice that's delicious. You'll find Jade Tiki Restaurant on South Boulevard, just west of South Squirrel Road.
My Cousin's New York Pizzeria - Giving Buddy's Pizza a run for their money is My Cousin's New York Pizzeria. This is possibly the only place in the entire state where you can get a genuine New York style pizza. These are giant pizzas, covered in your favorite toppings. We love all their specialty pizzas including the Margarita, the Super Meaty, and the White Spinach. If you're not in the mood for pizza they've got other excellent choices like the Chicken Piccata and Chicken Marsala. My Cousin's New York Pizzeria is located on Woodware Avenue near the intersection with I-75 and Telegraph Road.
Moose Preserve Bar & Grill - Moose Preserve is a favorite bar among the locals because it gives you that authentic lodge feeling without ever having to leave the city of Bloomfield Hills. Escape the usual dress codes of the city and enjoy the casual ambiance here. There are great specials every single day on their menu. Delicious fresh soups, burgers, and more. The kitchen is open very late so you can always grab a bite to eat here. Located on Woodward Avenue just north of I-75 and US-24.
Crust Pizza & Wine Bar - While not your typical bar, this pizza and wine restaurant is a great place to relax with a glass or a bottle of your favorite whites and reds. If you're a frequent visitor you'll want to join the pizza and wine club. The selection of alcoholic beverages definitely isn't limited to just wine either--they've got lots of great beers and specialty drinks. Located in Bloomfield Township on the corner of Telegraph and Maple.
Dick O'Dow's - Of all the great Irish pubs in Michigan, Dick O'Dow's holds the top spot as far as many people are concerned. Between the great location and the excellent food, not to mention the great drinks and friendly staff, this one is a definite winner. Located just a five minute drive from the center of Bloomfield Hills, on Maple Road in Birmingham.
Red Coat Tavern - Many locals believe that the best burgers in Michigan are to be found at Red Coat Tavern. The prices here are a little higher than at other taverns in the area, but you do get what you pay for in this case. The lounge ambiance is cozy and inviting, and they've got a substantial beer selection that will please just about everybody. They've been pleasing customers since 1971. Located on Woodward Avenue in Royal Oak, just ten minutes by car from the center of Bloomfield Hills.
Corner Bar - This is another bar in Royal Oak that's worth the six minute drive from Bloomfield Hills. The music is always bumping late into the night at this fun nightspot, and you can dance and celebrate the good times all night long. Everything here is first class, with true top of the line service and premier cocktails. The lighting and sound system is unrivaled by any other nightclub. You'll find this can't-miss nightspot on the corner of Pierce and Merrill in Birmingham.
