Belleville, Michigan Party Bus
Belleville is perhaps best known as the birthplace of techno music, and many people travel into the area annually for the Strawberry Festival to hear great bands. The city is also famous for once having former U of M head football Lloyd Carr as their high school football coach, as well as having several NFL players attend the high school including Ian Gold, Kris Jenkins, Cullen Jenkins, and Kevin Harrison. Billy Ashley, former Los Angeles Dodger and Boston Red Sox outfielder, also attended their high school. Beyond all that, nowadays Belleville is a great place to go for a great meal and drinks. You can find our best picks for restaurants and bars in the 48111 and 48112 zip codes below.
Dos Pesos Mexican Restaurant - If you're craving excellent Mexican food in Belleville, you will absolutely love Dos Pesos. The owner and servers are always very friendly, and the food here is made from the freshest ingredients crafted into the most flavorful and delicious Mexican dishes we've ever tasted. Great prices for both food and drinks! We love the chili, and the chips and salsa are always perfect. You can find Dos Pesos on Belleville Road between Liberty Street and the I-94 service drive.
Doyce's Red Beans & Rice - If you love soul food, Doyce's is worth a trip. This is one of the best restaurants in Belleville if you ask us. Their atmosphere is great, and they often have live jazz bands filling the space with wonderful music. Everything is made one hundred percent fresh and made to order, so you are always getting the freshest meal possible. We highly recommend the southern fried chicken and peach cobbler. They've got a great all-you-can-eat brunch too. You can find Doyce's on Main Street south of Liberty.
Cracker Barrel - Cracker Barrel is always an awesome choice no matter what city you're in, but the Belleville location is a favorite of ours for the friendly service, great atmosphere, and of course the delicious food. The portions here are absolutely monstrous, and the prices are unbeatable. We love the corn bread and fried apples the most. Of course there's also the kitchsy country store where you can pick up cute gifts for your family. You'll find Cracker Barrel on the I-94 service drive easily accessible via Belleville Road.
Dimitri's Country Kitchen - We're a fan of all the Dimitri's locations in Michigan, but the Belleville location is specifically about country home cooking. This cozy little diner style restaurant has freshly prepared food and excellent service. Their menu is pretty extensive, ranging from delicious broasted chicken to exotic saganaki! Lots of Belleville residents come here after partying at the bar to sober up with some great food. You can find Dimitri's on the corner of Belleville Road and the I-94 service drive.
Red Rooster Pizzeria - This is a cozy little pizzeria that's an irreplacable part of the Belleville landscape. Everyone who spends any time in Belleville stops in here for their delicious pizzas, and of course their famous fish dinners on Fridays. The cole slaw is really delicious. You'll find that there's sometimes a long wait here because they're always so busy, but we take that as a good thing! You can find Red Rooster Pizzeria on the corner of Willis Road and Rawsonville Road.
Diamondback Saloon - Possibly the best party spot in downtown Belleville! The music is always bumping with everything from top 40 to country, from pop to hip hop, from today's rock to classic rock. They've got lots of things to entertain you from darts to pool tables, plus foosball and video games too. Best perks though are the cheap drink prices and the dance floor that's always crowded with fun-loving people having a great time. You'll find Diamondback Saloon on the I-94 service drive between Rawsonville Road and Belleville Road.
Play It Again Sam - Play it Again Sam is just a cozy neighborhood bar where you can get some delicious bar food and cheap drinks. The staff is always friendly and the atmosphere has that dark tavern type of feel to it. The selection of beers here is pretty good for being just a small neighborhood bar. We always stop in for the burgers. You can find Play It Again Sam on Bemis Road between Metro Parkway and Savage Road.
Red Rooster Bar - Located inside the Red Rooster Pizzeria, this is a great place to go for drinks. You can even come in for the pizza and decide to stay for a nightcap (or two, or three!). The staff here is always very attentive, keeping your glasses filled and making sure that you're comfortable. This is probably our favorite place to stop in for a drink when we're in Belleville. You can find this one on the corner of Willis and Rawsonville.
Lone Star Steakhouse & Saloon - Lone Star is always a great place to go for some good chops or ribs, and of course some nicely priced and tasty drinks. We absolutely love the mesquite grilled steaks here. The Texas Rose (their version of Outback's Bloomin' Onion) is always a great appetizer to share with friends, and you can't beat their award winning chili or chicken tortilla soup. If you're going just for the bar, you'll enjoy friendly bartender service and moderate prices. You can find Lone Star on Rawsonville Road just north of Grove.
John's Hot Spots - This is a great little strip bar. The locals will tell you that there's no place better to see sexy strippers and eat great hot dogs. Some come just for the strippers, and some come just for the hotdogs from their buffet. Clearly a win-win situation for everybody. Located on Michigan Avenue south of Denton Road.
