Warren, Michigan Party Bus

Warren is one of the largest residential and industrial suburbs of Detroit. It's known for its automobile manufacturing plants, as well as being the home of General Motors Technical Center, the South Campus of Macomb County Community College, and of course the headquarters of Michigan's beloved Big Boy Restaurants. If you're traveling into the area, maybe to see a concert by the Warren Symphony Orchestra, to see a movie at Cinemark Movies 16, to go bowling at Universal Lanes, or to attend some sporting events at Van Dyke Sport Center, you'll need to know the best places to eat and drink. Our favorite bars and restaurants in the zip code of 48088, 48089, 48090, 48091, 48092, 48093, and 48397.

Restaurants

Andiamo Warren - Andiamo is always an elegant choice for romantic dates or business lunches and dinners. The lighting is dim and comfortable, and the decor is very classy. The food is said to be the best Italian food in the area, and we wouldn't disagree with that! We highly recommend the Gnocchi Alla Palmina and the Paglia e Fieno con Filetto di Pollo. You will find Andiamo's Warren location on 14 Mile between Van Dyke and Mound.

Buddy's Pizza - Everybody loves Buddy's Pizza, and their Warren location is wonderful. Buddy's recently celebrated their sixtieth anniversary as Detroit's number one square pizza. We've been hooked on them for years. If you have never tried Buddy's, it's about time you do. We highly recommend the Hawaiian pizza, and the cheese fries with bacon and ranch are absolutely addictive! Located on 13 Mile, south of Chicago Road.

Juliano's Restaurant - Juliano's is a fabulous Italian restaurant where you can enjoy both reasonable prices and perfectly cooked food. Their pasta primavera is our top choice, and the prime rib is always an excellent pick too. The full bar means that you can enjoy a few drinks while you're waiting for a table, or after your meal is through. The service here is always top notch and very friendly. Located on Van Dyke, north of 11 Mile.

Golden Harvest - Golden Harvest is a wonderful Chinese restaurant where you can enjoy fabulous dim sum and sushi. We love the subdued decor with gentle blues instead of the usual reds and golds that you find in most Chinese restaurants. And the sushi is delicious! They've got a full bar too, so you can enjoy cocktails with your meal or afterward. If you've never tried dim sum, this is the place to go. Located on 12 Mile Road between Van Dyke and Mound.

Firenze Restaurant - Firenze is another great Italian restaurant in the city of Warren. This restaurant is family owned and operated, and it has been in business since 1964. The fish dinners are delicious, and you can't go wrong with the gnocchi and ravioli. Delicious Italian food at just the right price. And did we mention the pizza? You'll find Firenze on 10 Mile Road between Hoover and Van Dyke.

Bars

Dragonmead Microbrewery - This exciting little microbrewery doesn't just make its own beer, it makes its own pop! If you're not much of a beer drinker, you'll enjoy the mead. They've got twenty six perfect beer recipes, and a great menu for dining too. We recommend Guinevere's Golden Belgian Ale, and the Bronze Griffin Belgian Ale is also wonderful. If you prefer English style, the Earl Spit Stout is great. To eat, you can't go wrong with the Venison Summer Sausage or just a basic cheeseburger. You can find Dragonmead on 11 Mile Road between Groesbeck and Schoenher.

Lime Light Bar & Grill - This cozy little bar has that "Cheers" vibe that we all love. The neighborhood bar where everybody knows you. This sports bar has plenty of TVs so you won't miss a moment of the big game, and they've got a fireplace to warm your bones during the cold Michigan winters. Live music on the weekends too. We love the club salad. You can find Lime Light on Van Dyke north of 12 Mile.

Malone's Tavern - Malone's is one of the most popular bars in the area, with that great tavern ambiance that everybody enjoys. More of a sports bar than an Irish pub, thee bar is packed with an astonishing 45 televisions so you never have to miss any of your favorite sports teams. The Dublin Chips are delicious, and if you want to have something a little better than the usual bar fare, the Chicken Piccata with artichoke sauce is out of this world. You can find Malone's on Van Dyke south of 14 Mile.

Kuhnhenn Brewing Co - We love this microbrewery and winery, and it also functions as a wine making shop. Their menu boasts more than twenty beers and over fifty wines! There's not much to eat here, but the big bonus is that they let you bring in whatever you want. It's fun to bring big groups of friends to make beer and wine for special occasions. Try the Creme Brulee brew in the winter. It'll warm you up and go down smooth. Kuhnhenn Brewing Co is located on the corner of Chicago and Mound.

Joe Suds - Joe Suds is just a great neighborhood hole in the wall bar where you can hang out with loud boistrous crowds and enjoy cheap drinks. We love the free ping pong tables (why don't more bars have this?), and they've also got darts, keno, and lots of TVs so you can catch the game. The food's good too! Located on 13 Mile Road east of Shoenherr.
