Casey's of Walled Lake - Everyone in Walled Lake loves to meet their friends at Casey's for good food and good times. The menu has a wide variety of delicious delicacies, from burgers to sandwiches, from ribs to pulled pork, and on the lighter side there are lots of chicken dishes and salads. They have a full bar where you can enjoy your favorite beers and microbrews. And the big bonus here is a sushi bar with a full Japanese menu. Who knew? One of the best restaurants you'll ever visit. Uptown Grille - This has all the elements of both a great restaurant and a cozy sports bar. If you stop in early in the day, they've got a great breakfast pizza and really good coffee. For lunch we'd recommend the wings and pulled pork nachos. If you're there for dinner, the seafood and pastas are the clear choice. They've got a great beer selection here too with lots of drafts and bottles. You'll find this one on Maple Road west of Haggerty.

Honey Tree Restaurant - Honey Tree Restaurant is a nice change of pace from all the typical restaurants that you're used to. They serve delicious Greek and Mediterranean specialties, plus wonderful breakfasts served all day long. Everything is as fresh as can be, and the waitresses are always smiling and ready to serve you. You'll find this wonderful spot on Pontiac Trail south of Maple Road.

Mama Mias Ristorante - You know you can never go wrong with any Mama Mia's location. Sushi Den - If you're seeking true Japanese cuisine and sushi, Sushi Den is your best source. The restaurant is always pleasant and quiet, a refreshing change from the boistrous places that we're used to dining at. You will not find fresher sashimi than this! Absolutely the best tasting sushi we have ever eaten. The prices are also unbelievably low here compared to the other sushi restaurants that we frequent. You can find this gem of the Orient on Pontiac Trail just south of Maple Road.

Bars

C J Brewing Co - If you love beer, this is your place! They've got an incredible selection of both domestic and imported beers, and of course their homemade microbrews that you've got to try. They sell lots of their own so it's always as fresh as can be, and brought to you ice cold just the way you like it. Wonderful food too, including some of the best pizza in the area. You'll find this cozy spot on Richardson Road between Orion Lake Road and Haggerty.

Bayside Sports Grill - Aptly named since it rests on the shore of Walled Lake, Bayside Sports Grill has a wonderful deck that's enclosed so you can enjoy it all year round. Eating right there on the waterfront is such a wonderful experience, you'll find yourself coming back time and time again. We love the barbecue chicken sandwiches and the Italian nachos. Everything is served piping hot and it's always delicious! Located on Walled Lake Drive just east of Pontiac Trail.

Pepino's Restaurant & Lounge - Pepino's is very popular among all the Walled Lake locals and many people make the trek out there from all over Michigan just to dine on their delicious food. It's right off the lake and quite hidden compared to most of the other restaurants in the area, and since they're only open during dinner hours they have a bit of an exclusive feel. It's good to arrive right at 5:00PM when they open if you don't want to have to wait for a table. Great place for dates or to meet with friends. We love the Caesar salad with anchovies. You can find Pepino's on the corner of Walled Lake Drive and Pontiac Trail.

Elephant Bar & Grille - This is a chain restaurant, but one worth going to. The food is global fusion, with both European and Asian styles blended together in exquisite ways. They cook over a wood fired grill and in a high heat wok. The quick seared ahi tuna with ponzu is the best you'll ever have, sprinkled with sesame seeds and with a nice serving of wasabi on the side. We also love the coconut fried shrimp skewers on the appetizer menu. The best meal as far as we're concerned is the rock sugar braised beef with pappardelle noodles. Delish! You'll find Elephant Bar & Grille on Maple Road west of Haggerty.

Glengary Inn - Glengary Inn is a tiny bar that you may never have found if you weren't reading this right now. Tucked away on a side street, this hidden gem is a great spot to stop in for a few drinks when you want to beat the crowds and just get a little peace and quiet. The bartender is always there to greet you with a smile and mix your favorite drinks or pour your favorite beer. You'll find this one on the corner of Glengary Road and Fisher Avenue in Wolverine Lake.
