St. Clair Shores, Michigan Party Bus

St Clair Shores, located in Macomb County, is named for its pristine location along Lake Saint Clair. It was once a resort community with an amusement park called Jefferson Beach, boasting the longest roller coaster in the United States. Now it's best known for its annual Memorial Day Parade, and of course for its beautiful Nautical Mile which features marinas, boat dealers, shops, and marina themed restaurants. Car City Records is another famous spot in the city, and many big name Detroit musicians have worked there in the past. If you're traveling to St Clair Shores, you've got to try some of their wonderful restaurants and bars. Here are the best ones in the 48080, 48081, and 48082 zip codes!

Restaurants

Waves - Waves is our absolute essential stop when we're in St. Clair Shores. The beachy ambiance and tiki decor is something that you cannot find anywhere else. You'll dine beneath thatched huts lit with seashell lamps, and after 9PM at least three nights a week they have live music. (It's good and loud, so if you're planning on conversation you may want to arrive earlier than that!) Their specialty is fresh seafood and a mix of American and Caribbean dishes, and you cannot go wrong with any item on the menu. If you're with a date, order the fishbowl drink to share, or their famous Tsunami island cocktail. Located on Jefferson Avenue north of 9 Mile.

Jack's Waterfront Restaurant - One of the most amazing places to dine in St. Clair Shores. They've got four seasonal dining areas with panoramic views of Lake St Clair. Everything is cooked to perfection by Chef Gianluca who brings his expertise in Italian cuisine right to your table with his delicious dishes. They've got great DJs and performances every single night of the week. Open seven days a week, plus brunch on Sundays, and they've got both indoor and outdoor dining and three separate bar areas. Located on Jefferson Avenue north of 9 Mile.

Andiamo Lakefront Bistro - Andiamo is always a great choice for delicious Italian food, but when you put it in a gorgeous lakefront location like this one, it makes it even more wonderful. We are big fans of the Linguini Shrimp Pasta, but you really can't go wrong with any of their seafood, steaks, or sandwiches. Very elegant decor with the walls done in dark paneling. Very friendly staff. Located on Jefferson Avenue north of 9 Mile.

Fishbones Rhythm Kitchen Cafe - Fishbones is a Detroit staple, but their St Clair Shores location is a waterfront sensation. There's nothing else in our area that even comes close to the Cajun Creole dishes that they serve here. The crawfish etouffe is to die for. In the warm summer months you'll want to take advantage of their spacious outdoor patio. Did we mention that they also serve delicious sushi here? You can find this gem of a restaurant on Jefferson Avenue south of 9 Mile Road.

Gim Ling Restaurant - This is much more casual than the previously mentioned waterfront restaurants, but it's listed here because it's worth the drive for their delicious Chinese food. They've been in business for at least a few decades. One of their very best dishes is the almond boneless chicken. They do add twenty percent gratuity for parties of five or more, so be aware of that if dining with a group of friends. You'll find this gem of a neighborhood Chinese restaurant on Harper Avenue between 13 Mile and Masonic Boulevard.

Bars

Pat O'Brien's Tavern - This is a great little Irish tavern with delicious perch dinners (that's what they're famous for!), great drinks, and low prices. They've been in business for fifty years and they're very popular among the local boaters. Very family friendly establishment. They've got both indoor and outdoor dining areas, and there is a bar as well. You'll find this cozy tavern on 10 Mile, one block west of Jefferson Avenue, just off the Nautical Mile.

Coyote Station - Coyote Station is a busy club that's popular with the younger crowd. You may have known it previously as Ronjo's. Or Skinny's. Or maybe Gecko's. Or after that Shoreclub. Maybe the present newly renovated incarnation will stick around! It's got a singles bar style and it's a great place to meet new people. You'll enjoy the DJs and dancing, and catching all the Red Wings and Tigers games on their eleven flat screen televisions. You'll find this fun bar on Harper Avenue just south of 10 Mile.

Sabby's Lounge - Sabby's is a cozy little bar that's always filled with regulars and locals. It's a great place to stop in for delicious burgers and cocktails. They've got live entertainment on certain days, and it's also an excellent place to catch the game. Daily lunch and dinner specials help you to go easy on your wallet, and happy hour from 4 to 7 achieves the same goal. We highly recommend the perch dinners on Fridays! Located on Harper Avenue south of 10 Mile Road.

Blue Goose Inn - We love Blue Goose Inn for their great selection of beers, liquors, and spirits, and their food is really delicious too. The Big Blue Burger is our absolute favorite. If you love blues, you'll love their live entertainment. They're family friendly so you can take your kids with you for lunch, and return later in the evening on your own or with friends for some drinks and dancing. You'll find Blue Goose Inn on Jefferson Avenue north of 11 Mile.

Harbor Lanes Bowling Center - This bowling alley has been in business for many years, and the restaurant next door is owned by the same people. The locals have been enjoying this bowling alley for decades now, and they stay in business due to their friendly staff and great atmosphere. The bar is attached to the bowling alley too, so you can head right over after your game and have a few drinks. You'll find Harbor Lanes on Jefferson Avenue north of 10 Mile.
