Roseville is an oft-overlooked destination in southeast Michigan, but there are so many things to do here. From Metro Beach Metropark for those lazy summer days to Great Lakes Sports City for skating and hockey... and those are just for starters. If you make your way to Roseville on one of our party buses, you'll need to stop somewhere for lunch or dinner, and of course for some drinks at the end of the night. Here are some of our favorite restaurants and bars in the 48066 zip code.
Mr Paul's Chophouse - Mr Paul's Chophouse is one of the most popular steakhouses in the area because of their wonderful atmosphere and high class service. Not to mention the top notch food! They of course specialize in their seafood, steaks, and chops. This is one of the higher rated restaurants in the area and you do get what you pay for here. The romantic and quiet amtosphere is another plus. The surf and turf here is excellent. You'll find Mr Pauls on Groesbeck Highway, north of Twelve Mile Road.
Red Robin - If you're familiar with Red Robin, you know you can't beat their burgers. The atmosphere is fun and lighthearted with whimsical decor, and the prices are moderate so you won't break the bank to get that perfect burger. You can easily dine here for under ten bucks a person, which is great when you're doing the party bus trip! They've got a full bar as well. Located on South Gratiot Avenue (south of 14 Mile Road).
Cracker Barrel - If you want an entertaining atmosphere with your meal, Cracker Barrel can't be beat. You get HUGE portions here, that good old Americana decor that you love, and a chance to shop in their country store. They're known for their giant hearty breakfasts, but you can do breakfast, lunch, or dinner here and you can never go wrong with any item on the menu. Located on Little Mack Avenue, south of 13 Mile Road.
Lazybones Smokehouse - If barbecue is your bag, you'll love Lazybones Smokehouse. Their specialty is slow applewood smoked BBQ, and you will love the food. We recommend the Texas Sampler which has everything plus two sides. The smoked flavor is unequaled by any other restaurant in the area. It's definitely a bare bones restaurant (no pun intended!), where the focus is on the food, and if you're like us you'll love that. Located on Groesbeck Highway, north of 696.
National Coney Island - If you're looking for a nice comforting diner or coney island meal, you can't beat National Coney Island. This chain is known for its delicious food and great service, and the Roseville location is no exception. Their coneys are our absolute favorite, and they are also known for their delicious and generously sized sandwiches. Cheap food, breakfast lunch or dinner--what more can we say about this area classic? Located on Groesbeck Highway, just south of Twelve Mile Road.
Roseville Hooters - For a party bus full of guys, perhaps celebrating a bachelor party, Hooters can't be beat. You've got the sports bar atmosphere that you love, moderately priced and delicious food, and of course those sexy waitresses in their little orange shorts and tiny white tops! Of course what you're paying for here is the novelty, but we aren't complaining! GREAT wings. Located on Gratiot Avenue, just south of 14 Mile Road.
Kavan's Colony East Bar & Grill - Known as much for their great burgers as they are for their excellent drinks, Kavan's is a local favorite and a great place to hang out with your friends. The prices are definitely affordable, and you can't beat their price on a third of a pound ground round. Located on Hayes Road, right at the intersection with Twelve Mile Road.
Hideout Bar & Grill - Locals love the Hideout Bar & Grill for its live music on the weekends--great classic rock! The prices for drinks and food are definitely budget friendly, but your tastebuds will never know that you're dining or drinking on the cheap. Great service, friendly crowds, and a good time is always had by all! Located on Groesbeck Highway, north of Twelve Mile Road.
Stonewood Lounge - If you're seeking a great tavern in the Roseville area, Stonewood Lounge has your name on it. Their lunches and dinners are affordably priced, and the drinks are always good. The live bands are a big draw here, and they also have karaoke on certain nights, and great drink specials. A friendly staff and an equally friendly crowd make us always want to come back for more! Located on Utica Road, just south of Twelve Mile Road.
Eastgate Bar - Just a friendly neighborhood bar with darts, trivia, video games, and bowling. The prices here are affordable, and you can't beat their lunches and dinners. Very comfortable atmosphere, and we love the music here as well. You'll find Eastgate Bar on Gratiot north of Frazho Road.
