Rochester, Michigan Party Bus

Figuring out where Rochester begins and Rochester Hills ends is a feat in itself. Even Oakland Township residents often say that they live in Rochester or the Rochester area. The area boasts many great attractions such as Meadow Brook Hall, the beach at Thelma Spencer Park, and of course the wonderful Yates Cider Mill. And those are just for starters. If you're heading into the Rochester area, here are some of the best bars and restaurants in the 48306, 48307, 48308, and 48309 zips.

Restaurants

Rochester Mills Beer Co - We love this laid back restaurant for the friendly waitstaff, the delicious burgers and perfectly chilled beers, and of course the pizza. They've always got great live entertainment on the weekend, and if you need a little extra entertainment there's always trivia and television so you can catch the games. You can find this cozy spot on the corner of Water Street and 4th.

Kruse & Muer On Main - The prices at Kruse & Muer are always affordable, and yet the food is top notch homemade fare. The service is excellent. Friendly waitstaff and attentive people working behind the scenes to make your experience a pleasant. The bread here is so good that some people go just for that reason, but the seafood and the pizzas are the reasons that we'd recommend this restaurant. You can find it on Main Street south of University Drive.

Knapp's Diary Bar - This is such a fun spot for dates and groups of friends. You feel like you've stepped back in time when you visit this relic of the 1950s, except it's not just a relic, it's a bustling present day business. You'll love the hamburgers, ice cream, and frozen yogurt. Some complain about the prices, but you are paying for quality here. Buns made fresh daily just for Knapp's, hand shaped burgers made from top quality beef, and authentic shakes and malts just like back in the day. You can find this slice of the past on Main Street, south of University Drive.

Andiamo Rochester - We're big fans of Andiamo no matter what location you choose, but the Rochester spot is a particular favorite because of the great ambiance and wonderful service. The food is of course fabulous, whether you opt for their chicken, seafood, veal, or pasta. Located conveniently in the downtown area, which is really beautiful around the holidays. It's right there on Main Street one block south of University Drive

Europa Bistro - This one's a little bit harder to find, but Europa Bistro is one restaurant that you do not want to skip. This French restaurant has both indoor and outdoor seating with great ambiance either way. The food is freshly made and always delicious, and the waitstaff is very attentive and helpful if you can't decide which dish to order. Despite the amazing food, the prices are very reasonable. You can find this little piece of France on Main Street, north of University Drive.

Bars

Jox Sports Bar & Grill - You just can't beat a great sports bar with a convenient downtown location. Jox is one of our faves. Beyond the usual TVs to catch the game, they've also got foosball, video games, and darts to help pass the time or to distract you when your favorite team is losing! The drink prices are very reasonable considering their prime downtown spot, and they often have DJs on the weekends too. Located on Main Street north of University Drive.

Fuse Lounge - This is a great nightspot to go to with your friends or to meet new people. Live DJs keep the music pumping all night long, and in our experience the drinks are always nice and strong, never watered down. They've got a very nice large bar and comfortable sofas to relax on. We love the martinis, which are a bit expensive at ten bucks a pop but they're very strong and just two will have you feeling a serious buzz. You'll be able to locate this great nightclub on Main Street south of University Drive.

Paint Creek Tavern - If you're looking for a new spot to chill in Rochester, Paint Creek Tavern has that laid back vibe that you'll love. They've got a great selection of more than forty beers on draft, and in the warm months you'll want to sit outside on the deck. The nachos and pizzas are absolutely delicious here. You can find this cozy tavern on Main Street north of University Drive.

Gus O'Connor's Irish Public House - There's nothing better than a traditional Irish pub mixed with a sports bar, and Gus O'Connor's definitely does it right. You can get mouth watering delicious burgers, juicy steaks, fresh fish, and all your most cherished traditional Irish favorites here. On Sundays they've got a live jazz brunch from 10:30AM to 2:00PM, and that's a nice way to enjoy the last day of the weekend after partying on Saturday night. You can find Gus O'Connor's on Main Street south of University Drive.

Buffalo Wild Wings - Buffalo Wild Wings is always an easy choice for delicious wings, a great sports bar atmosphere, and good times with friends. They've got a spacious bar, video games, and trivia. Our favorite part of BBW of B Dub's is the incredible amount of sauces that you can choose to have your wings cooked in. And of course wings aren't the only thing you can get here, they have a full menu of delicious items. This Buffalo Wild Wings location can be found on Walton Boulevard east of Livernois.
