Restaurants

Gest Omelettes - Gest Omelettes slogan is "The best omelettes in the world!" but they have much more here than great omelettes. They do offer fourteen different types of omelettes that can be ordered crepe style if you prefer. Beyond that they have every type of breakfast food imaginable, plus great appetizers, burgers, sandwiches, salads, and a kids menu. Their daily specials will help you to save a few bucks too. All menu items are available for carryout. You'll find this cozy little family owned diner on Plymouth Road just west of Beech Daly.

Cinco de Mayo - Cinco de May is a cozy little Mexican restaurant that gives you giant portions at a very low price. There's lots of fun Corona decor inside, and they play Mariachi music so you get a really authentic feel. It doesn't just feel authentic... it really is. The chips and salsa are of course complimentary, and you can't beat the lunch buffet for a quick meal before you get back to work. There's also a full bar with a nice selection of beers and wines. Family friendly yet very romantic for dates. Located on 5 Mile Road east of Beech Daly.

Mama Mia Restaurant - Mama Mia's is a family owned restaurant that has been in business since 1952. This is the best place to go in the Redford area for the freshest and most delicious Italian food at an affordable price. We've always loved the salads which are served with their famous breadsticks. The dinners come with side salads and a bread basket too. There are other Italian restaurants in the area that we love, but you don't have to pay an arm and a leg at this one, and they skip the pretense here. Just a great family friendly restaurant! You can find Mama Mia's on Beech Daly at the intersection with Grand River.

Bet & Jessie's Fish & Chips - If you're craving some excellent seafood that's battered or breaded to perfection, you will love Bet & Jessie's Fish & Chips. They were originally located at Grand River and Fielding in the 1960s and 1970s, but their new location has all the authenticity and great taste that their original one did! We go here for the perch dinners. They're excellent. Located on Grand River east of Inkster Road.

Pipe N Hot - If you love hot delicious pizza from a family run business, you'll want to try Pipe N Hot. Their pizzas are hand spun just perfectly, and their barbecue ribs are flame grilled for just that right smoky flavor. Redford locals will tell you that this is the best pizza in town. Try the Texas Heat pizza, which has spicy wing sauce, pepperoni, Italian sausage, jalapenos, banana peppers, crushed red and black pepper, and cajun seasoning! Delicious! Located on Joy Road just west of Telegraph.

Bars

Sandy's By The Beach - Sandy's is an overwhelmingly popular bar and restaurant. And why are they so popular? Mostly for their incredibly delicious burgers and fries, but the great atmosphere and wonderful staff are also a big draw. They've got plasma TVs showing the current games and local events, but they keep the volume just right so you can chat comfortably with your friends. This is one of our favorite places in all of southeast Michigan. Located on 5 Mile near Beech Daly. (Hence the name: "Sandy's by the BEECH!")

Timber Wolf Tavern - Timber Wolf Tavern has great ambiance, with a signature stuffed wolf on the bar and other great tavern decor. Locals love to frequent Timberwolf Tavern for the great food, low prices, and perfectly mixed drinks. You can sit at the bar or grab a comfortable booth and just relax with your friends sipping on whatever you like. They often have karaoke here, and there are always pool tables, pinball, and trivia to keep you busy. Located on Plymouth Road east of Beech Daly.

White Rhino Sports Bar - Best sports bar in the area! White Rhino has amazing ninety nine cent lunch specials that will get you fed without breaking the bank. There are more than twenty plasma TV sets in the place to keep you in view of whatever games are on, and there's free wifi here too so you can always stay connected. We love the 34 ounce draft beers, the dart boards, and the video games. Just a great place to chill with friends. Located on 7 Mile Road between Beech Daly and Inkster Road.

Bullfrog Bar & Grill - Don't let the small size of this bar fool you--they pack a serious punch when it comes to great food, cheap drinks, and wonderful live entertainment! They've got a bevy of hot waitresses known as the Bullfrog Girls, and they claim to have Michigan's hottest waitstaff, best bands, best burger, and best bar! We'd have a hard time arguing with that. Their Bullfrog Club and Steak and Cheese Hoagie are our favorite sandwiches in the place. Located on Telegraph Road north of Fenkell Street.

Longshots Bar & Grill - This is a great neighborhood bar that often has bikini lunches and great drink specials. We love their steaks, burgers, and lambchops. Everything is always fresh and cooked just right. They've got wifi available here so you can stay connected while you have lunch or a few drinks. You can find this great little bar and grill on Grand River just east of Inkster Road.
