Frenchtown Township is just what it sounds like, a French town. The French settled in Frenchtown in the late seventeen hundreds. They put up developments along the River Rasin and Swan Creek. Later on Ash Township, Monroe and Berlin Township broke off into developments. Jerry's Bar & Grill - This establishment is located at 2932 North Dixie Highway, Monroe, MI 48162. This is a little hole in the wall pub and grub with a big heart. The bar isn't much to look at but it sure makes up for it in services. The food is really good and inexpensive. Every day is a different special so you are never going to get board with the same old thing. The wait staff is very friendly and fast. Make sure to try blue grill or chicken on Wednesday night. Saturday night is Karaoke night so make sure to stop in and sing. You will have a bunch of fun with your friends at Jerry's.
