Brighton, Michigan Party Bus

Brighton is a smaller city in the Livingston County area. It's garnered mentions in movies including Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip, and the film Aspen Extreme actually begins on one of their ski hills, Mount Brighton. Our favorite Detroit rapper, Eminem, also went to rehab within the city limits. But beyond all that, Brighton is packed with great bars and restaurants and places to have fun on a day out. On this page we'll tell you about some of our favorite places in the 48114 and 48116 area.

Restaurants

Ciao Amici's - If you want some great Italian food in the Brighton area, Ciao Amici's definitely fits the bill. They get consistently great reviews. You'll love their fireplace room and full bar. You can get plated or buffet service, and you'll enjoy a wine inventory of five hundred specializing in California wines. Truly elegant atmosphere. Located on West Main St west of Grand River Ave.

Stillwater Grill - There's a walkout patio in back with a gorgeous view, and the decor and atmosphere is definitely a draw for this restaurant. The food is excellent, with the lobster bisque being a highlight, as well as their steaks and seafood. Located on W Grand River Ave, just north of Main St.

Border Cantina - This Mexican resaurant has the best food and fabulous margaritas. You won't believe the cheap prices and huge portions. Our favorite is the tortilla soup. They're always busy because they're so good, but definitely worth the wait. Located on W Grand River Ave near Meijer.

Buon Gusto Italian Bistro Restaurant - The chefs at this authentic Italian restaurant have over 35 years of cooking experience. Their food is fresh and homemade, and the menu is extensive. If you can name an Italian dish, no matter how obscure, it's probably on their menu. Huge portions, great decor, friendly staff, and a truly great dining experience. WiFi too. Located on West Main St, just west of W Grand River Ave.

Stone Fire Bistro - One of the most romantic dining spots in Brighton. Live music and a fireplace keep it entertaining and warm inside, and the outdoor dining is nice in the warmer months. The locals will tell you that this is the best food and atmosphere downtown. Located on West Main St, just west of W Grand River Ave.

Bars

Brighton Bar & Grill - Brighton Bar and Grill is a great place to grab lunch or dinner and also hang out and have some drinks. Reasonably priced, huge portions, wonderful desserts. Located on West Main St, just west of West Grand River Ave.

Stout Irish Pub - If you're seeking some traditional Irish food, seafood, and steak, plus some great drinks and even a DJ Thursday thru Saturday, Stout is your place. Very authentic pub atmosphere. The corned beef is recommended. You'll find Stout on East Grand River Ave, just south of Main St.

Lu & Carl's Bar & Grill - Another great place in Brighton to get your grub on and your drink too, Lu & Carl's has it all. You can party the night away there and then have your breakfast there in the morning too. Lu and Carl are the names of the owner's dogs, and there are photos of dogs throughout the establishment. You'll find this bar on West Main St, just west of Grand River Ave.

Buffalo Wild Wings - Seems like there's a B Dubs on just about every corner nowadays, but you just can't go wrong with wings and beer. The prices are affordable and the menu is extensive. Great place to catch a game while you chug tall beers. You'll find BWW's on Village Place Blvd just off US-23.

Manny O'Malley's Irish Pub - Yet another pub makes the list. We'd recommend the Gaelic garden dinner salad, the yam fries with honey mustard, and of course the corned beef and cabbage. TV and WiFi are a bonus. Prices are extremely affordable, and you'll find this one on Old US Hwy 23, just south of E Highland Rd.
