Ypsilanti, Michigan Party Bus

Ypsilanti is known as a sort of sister city to its neighboring Ann Arbor--many say Ypsilanti is to Ann Arbor what Brooklyn is to Manhattan. There's a great arts community here and plenty of culture to partake in on a day trip, with lots of festivals going on every year and plenty of sights to see. The locals know it as Ypsi. If you plan to head over to this Washtenaw County destination on one of our party buses, you'll need to eat and have some drinks while you're there. Take a look at some of our favorite eating spots and watering holes in the 48197 and 48198 zip codes.

Restaurants

Haab's Restaurant - We love Haab's because of the cozy atmosphere, the friendly service, and most of all the delicious food. They specialize in steaks and seafood, but they also have amazing sandwiches, zesty barbecue items, and plenty of seasonal treats. You'll love the free wifi, and the moderate pricing for your meal is definitely a plus! Did we mention the full bar? You'll find Haab's on Michigan Avenue, just prior to Huron Street if you're traveling west.

Bomber Restaurant - The Bomber is extremely well known in the Ypsi area, and is very popular for its breakfasts. As a matter of fact it's been featured on theFood Network as one of their top ten breakfast spots! But don't think it's just for breakfast, because they've got great sandwiches for lunch as well. A frequent complaint is that parking is hard to find, but you won't have to worry about that with our party bus service! You'll find Bomber Restaurant on Michigan Avenue, just past Grove Street if you're traveling west.

Tower Inn Cafe - This one's a popular stop for everyone in the Ypsi area. They really know how to serve a great meal. The pizza is one of the favorites among the regulars, and they've got plenty of Italian and Greek dishes that everyone in your party will enjoy. They've got standup comedy on certain days as well as karaoke, plus TV and wifi. In the warmer months you'll enjoy the outdoor dining area. You'll find Tower Inn Cafe on Cross Avenue, west of Huron Street.

Los Amigos Mexican Restaurant - While there are several fantastic Mexican restaurants in the Ypsilanti area, Los Amigos easily finds its way to the top of those lists every time. It's not fancy, because the focus is on the authentic and delicious food, and we like it that way. You'll love the happy hour specials and the full bar, and you can also enjoy the television while you wolf down their excellent specials. Located on East Michigan Avenue, just past the intersection with Ridge Road.

Dalat Restaurant - If you love Vietnamese food as much as we do, you'll love Dalat. They keep it simple and elegant here, with absolutely wonderful soups, and a delicious catfish pot that we would definitely recommend. The prices are very affordable, and the atmosphere is subdued and quiet. Located on West Michigan Avenue at the intersection with North Huron Street.

Bars

Saloon Aubree's & Sticks - Some say Saloon Aubree's has the best pizza in town. Combine that with the great bar crowd and you've got a winning combination. They've got the more sophisticated crowd and a quieter more subdued atmosphere. Upstairs you'll find Sticks, which has pool tables and trivia for the younger crowds. There's something for everybody here. Located in Depot Town, on East Cross Street, between Prospect Road and Huron Street.

Sidetrack - Sidetracks is a local favorite especially in the warmer months for their outdoor seating. It's known as a comfortable neighborhood bar with some of the best food and beers in town. If you love a great pub atmosphere, you'll love this place. There are even moose heads and bears in the place--you've got to love that rustic feel. Located on Cross Street, between Prospect Road and Huron Street.

Pub 13 - The locals love Pub 13 for its bar scene, sports bar vibe, and most of all the excellent live music. They've got the dueling pianos going on, and if you've experienced that before you know that it's a hilarious form of entertainment, especially when you (or the piano players!) have a few drinks! The food is good and cheap. Located on North Washington Street, just past Huron Street.

Buffalo Wild Wings Grill & Bar - Oh how we love Buffalo Wild Wings, no matter which Michigan location you choose. They've got that great sports bar atmosphere, affordable prices, and a loud and fun vibe that you can't find anywhere else. The big draw here is the huge selection of sauces that you can have your wings (regular or boneless) tossed in before they cook them up. You can do half and half on any order, so if you're a spicy garlic fan but want some of the mango habanero sauce, you can have the best of both worlds. Love the big TVs, video games, and the music selection. Definitely fun on game day. Located on James L Hart Parkway, just off I-94.

Elbow Room - If you love shooting pool and listening to fantastic live music, you will love the Elbow Room. This joint has been in business for a long time for good reason, and we just can't find anything negative to say about it. Great drinks, low prices, cool crowds... Definitely a memorable hangout spot in the Ypsi area. Located on South Washington Street off Michigan Avenue.
